Why You Should Leave LJ

It's quite a list of bad steps on their part, isn't it?

I'd be SO gone from LJ if I didn't still have friends and communities over there.

Thank you much for posting this! My account over there is paid through Sept. something. Then it will revert to a Basic account (I *think*), since I've had it since 2001.

Here is part of what I said there:

I am reluctant to totally leave because of a couple people who have died, who were/are on my Friends List, and some of their entries are locked. The only way I can still see those entries is to remain, in some form, on LiveJournal.

I do not post there anymore. I have everything locked up except one post that says I moved to InsaneJournal. All my archives are here.

I may start removing a lot of my archives over there, but it's going to be a long process, since I want to keep posts that have comments from previously-mentioned now-dead friends.
