Step 3: Post and let everyone you know guess what song and artist the lines come from.

10: Never Saw Blue Like That-Shawn Colvin
18: Barbie Girl-Aqua

20 sounds really familiar...
10 is right, but not 18... read the last part of the dialogue ;)
11. Secret Journey - The Police (written by Sting)
13. I Don't Know How To Love Him - from the musical "Jesus Christ Superstar" (don't know the singer, but it was a gal)
20. Total Eclipse of the Heart - Bonnie Tyler
Um... I guess I'll give you them, even though I have different versions of #11 and #20! (Though #20 might just be mislabeled.) I had no idea Secret Journey was by the Police. I've never heard their version, but mine is by Lucy Kaplansky.
Here are the lyrics for "Secret Journey" at the first place I could find. It's from The Police's "Ghost in the Machine" album, back in the 80's.

Here are the lyrics for "Total Eclipse" as done by Bonnie Tyler, also from the 80's:

The Lucy Kaplansky one must be a cover. The lyrics are the same. ::shrug:: I think my "Total Eclipse of the Heart" is just mislabeled as Fleetwood Mac... I have quite a few songs mislabeled from my illegal downloading days.
Ah okay. Well, I have been a Police fan since the 80s, so that jumped right out at me. :-) And we used to watch Friday Night Videos long long ago--so I remember Bonnie Tyler's video for "Total Eclipse of the Heart". :-)
It took me ages to place them but 6 is Paranoid Android by Radiohead, and 24 is Runaway Train by Soul Asylum. 20 was the only other one I got (and I couldn't remember that it was Bonnie Tyler). :P
Hooray! I was afraid four would be the sum total :-P
Well now that I did the meme myself we can mark off 16. :)

It's been ages since I listened to some of the ones that came up on mine, hazards of letting WinAmp pick from over 6000 tracks I guess.
12.) Veins of Glass by Lacuna Coil?

19.) Vivica by Jack Off Jill?

And who's the guy in the icon?
Yes and yes! :D

That would be the delicious Matt Lewis, Neville Longbottom in Harry Potter.
Wow, he really grew up. He's definitely a cutie. :)
